Its mobile product authentication (MPA) system enables consumers to verify the authenticity of a pharmaceutical product. Using any cell phone, customers can text message an item-unique code and get an instant response from manufacturers confirming authenticity. The system also allows manufacturers to send targeted offers to consumers at the point of sale.
