MDNet has networked nearly 100% of physicians working in Ghana and Liberia, allowing every doctor in the country to call or text any other doctor for free - with over 3 million calls made so far.

In Ghana, MDNet was launched in partnership with the Ghana Medical Association and Vodafone. In Liberia, MDNet serves as a partnership with the Liberia Medical and Dental Association and MTN.

MDNet has also provided all of the doctors in Ghana and Liberia with a printed countrywide directory of physicians, so that doctors can expand their social networks and consult with new colleagues. Using our proposed MDNet bulk SMS platform called Ensemble, the government will be able to leverage the MDNet physician directory to send critical information straight to doctors’ mobile phones and collect data in realtime.
